These days I wear many hats, but I’m most known for my photography and videography. It’s what I think about and it’s what I do day in and day out — always looking for new and innovative ways to perfect my craft further and further.
I got my first camera — a Canon 6D with a Nifty-Fifty — right out of high school, going into my first year of college. I took that camera everywhere I went. I was inspired by some truly incredible artists who had been sharing their photos online for the whole world to see, and I remember thinking to myself…
“I can do that too.”
It didn’t take long to realize that I, in fact, could not “do that too.” But instead of giving up and swearing off photography, I was filled with a vigor of pure curiosity. How could they do that when I couldn’t? That simple question began a very long road that led me through many books, a dizzying amount of YouTube videos, and countless trials and errors.
That curiosity, and that question, still persist to this day. I learn something new every single day, and I never get tired of it. If there was ever a “calling,” I know this is mine.
